| Advice database registration instructions. |
Your entry consists of the following parts, all of which can be input on line. You may prefer to print this page and prepare your entry in advance to save on-line time
| Title and summary information |
These details are displayed when your entry is returned by the search engine.
- Title
- Author
- Date advice is active - this may be a future date, allowing you to provide advice on forthcoming events/legislation
- Summary text - max 500 characters (approx 75 words)
- Price if chargeable
This
section is displayed when the visitor selects the item and completes
the credit card payment procedure if required. The body can be of
any reasonable length.
A link to your Bizwise company page will be displayed with the summary of
the article, but you can include further contact information if you
wish.
The
general Biwise disclaimer limiting liability covers all items in the
database, but you may wish to include a further recommendation or
disclaimer of your own.
Visitors look for advice by entering key words in a search box. The search
engine will first search the key word list for matches, and then the
summary text of the articles. Careful selection of key words can
help your item appear within the first few results returned by the
search.
You can provide up to 20 key words of your choice
Certain other information will be required to ensure that entries are kept
up to date. This information will not be published, and includes the
following:
- Name of person submitting the article
- Date of expiry (Many articles will be time sensitive, referring to new
regulations, etc.) After the expiry date, the article can still be
available from our archive record.
- Date of release (Here you can specify a future date, before which it will not be released)
You will need to save the main body of your article with a file name that we will specify at the time of your upload. The file format must be as a web page (HTM file) Most word processors allow this option, for example in Microsoft Word 2000, save as
file type
web page. There is also on-line help to guide you through this process. On completion of the upload, the item will be placed in a quarantine area, and will be released for access by visitors after it clears security checks.
Help! If you have any difficulty in uploading your article, please contact us by email for assistance.
